Audience Member I don't think either of the leads have good personalities in the movie and then the movie does that thing we all dread - it drops off at the end as if it were in the middle of the movie and there's no meaning or closure. It's a long shot from perfect, let down by HD video artifacts and almost-finished sound work, but it's a reasonable facsimile of an entertaining romantic comedy with a very strong sense of time and place, and that's enough. It's modest, focused, and free of blatant missteps. It might not sound like much, but just getting this much right is a real leap forward for the local indie scene.
