Audience Member I had the opportunity to watch this film, and although it does a decent job at establishing its key points, I found myself watching scenes that seemed a bit overdone. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Brilliantly brave documentary showing the shocking extent of collusion between the british government and loyalist terrorists Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Justin Chang Los Angeles Times None of this, apart from the eventual naming of names, can be described as revelatory. Gibney's genius is less for uncovering information than synthesizing it in such a way that we can see the outlines of sinister conspiracies at work. Nov 16, 2017 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) Scrupulously even-handed, the film explores collusion between police and paramilitaries and the decidedly unstable foundations underpinning the Northern Ireland peace process. Rated: 4/5 Nov 12, 2017 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times It's great that O'Toole and the others get a platform. But one can't help but wish that platform was a little more pleasingly movie-shaped. There's some good journalism here, particularly from The Detail's Barry McCaffrey, nonetheless. Rated: 3/5 Nov 10, 2017 Full Review Charlotte Harrison VultureHound The strength of the documentary comes from its ability to tell the victims stories so clearly and profoundly. Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Nico Hines The Daily Beast This extraordinary film offers renewed hope to the survivors and victims of terrorist atrocities that have been left unsolved by authorities. Mar 3, 2019 Full Review Alistair Ryder The Digital Fix Gibney's film is undeniably flawed, but it's noble, and although it may only scratch the surface, will leave you invested enough to demand more answers.
