Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter An interesting and heartfelt effort. Dec 19, 2007 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Obviously a labor of love for all parties involved, Noelle is an engagingly low-key, Christian-skewing indie. Esther H I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. There were limited past viewers which can let you know that Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/25 Full Review James C I watched this film for the first time last Christmas. It stayed with me; so much so that I wanted to watch it again this Christmas as well. It has an endearing, inspirational message. It also proves that a filmmaker doesn't have to spend a fortune to make a quality film. Kudos to all involved. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review J S A story that brought up some interesting topics that could have gone a bit deeper, and that I have not seen discussed in other films. The foreshadowing was well done and, unlike other commenters, I enjoyed the banter of the townspeople, which provided information about how the people in the community treated one another. I remember thinking that the dialogue was simple, yet had it's own humor, and created the backdrop for why the resident priest didn't always follow the rules. It was a good contrast with the other priest, who said he didn't like people and just followed rules. Although the acting was a bit stiff, it is heartfelt and meaningful. It made me truly laugh out loud a few times and brought me to tears twice, too. While Hollywood usually prefers small budget films to have a small cast, often horror films when a screenwriter is starting out, this American film is refreshing in a way Hollywood would typically not be interested. If you like more European style films, then you'll likely like this one. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Carolyn C Such a sweet story and so meaningful. I loved this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/08/24 Full Review Pamela D We all really loved it. The story was interested from the start to the finish. We laughed at parts and cried at other parts. We really enjoyed this movie! Some scenes were very heartfelt. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/07/24 Full Review CH B I like the movie even though the acting wasn't always great. It was clean, with a strong message about forgiveness and new life in Christ. I loved the story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
