Nicolás Dell’Acqua EscribiendoCine While the visual aspect is more conventional and doesn't offer any major innovations, it takes a backseat, as the sound is the true protagonist, elevating the movie theater experience. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 7/10 Sep 18, 2025 Full Review Guillermo Courau La Nación (Argentina) Noise is the best example of how bad it is to try to continue experimenting with ideas and concepts that, long ago, stopped yielding any fruit. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 2/5 Sep 18, 2025 Full Review Steve Erickson Arts Fuse While the sound design is first-rate, befitting the concept, the cinematography is so muted and dark that it saps the film’s power, even though it forces the audience to concentrate harder on its array of noises. Aug 15, 2025 Full Review Mike Thorn In Review Online Noise crucially lacks a sense of accumulating tension. Its first act effectively establishes a sense of unknowable dread, but the film quickly becomes repetitive, and then eventually stagnant. Aug 12, 2025 Full Review Scott Phillips Forbes the screenplay finds new ways to toggle ... between Is it supernatural? and Is there a simple explanation? For every character who’s a Mulder, there’s a character who’s a Scully. Unlike so many horror films, I found the conclusion to be very satisfying. Aug 7, 2025 Full Review Chris Sawin Bounding Into Comics Noise is an auditory nightmare fueled by uncertainty and a foreboding atmosphere. Authentic moments of dread are drowned out by the echoing reverb of halfhearted writing. Rated: 3/5 Aug 5, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Instead, it leans more toward a social commentary, exposing the harsh realities of poor apartment construction and its impact on residents’ lives.
