Steve D There is a reason its star is the only actor you have heard of here. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A very quirky movie that gets lost in its desire to be artisan and stylish. It does not have a lot of substance to it, and the story it is trying to tell becomes muddled behind the glam rock music and the different lighting filters. Pierce Brosnan is laughable with a french accent. The movie takes an inordinate amount of time to tell a simple evil spirit story. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I guess you have to be an anthropology student to like this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The glam rock track is a bit dated, but the film itself has some amazing startling moments. I first saw this on late-night TV and had to search to find the title, and promptly bought the VHS years ago. If you can get past Brosnan's faux French accent (I could), and if you like sort of non-gore, but bizarre mindgame horror, this movie may be for you. Ignore the naysayers and give this a chance. One of the only times I've strongly disagreed with Roger Ebert. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review delysid d pierce brosnan pretending to be french. hes an expert on nomads. hes in LA and hes amazed that there are nomads running around. theyre called homeless people! but it turns out these punks are really demons, they convert him into a demon. stupid and boring. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/12/17 Full Review Audience Member What a disappointment. There's some decent atmosphere and music, and it's got a cool concept, but it's just a muddled, incoherent mess. Brosnans horrible French accent is also very distracting. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times I would like to describe the plot of Nomads, but my space is limited. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com '... a disaster on release, but looks pretty good now, with muscular direction and an unconventional urban horror-story that’s hard to pigeonhole....' Rated: 3/5 Jan 9, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews Nomads eventually (and lamentably) progresses into a tedious and hopelessly wheel-spinning midsection... Rated: .5/4 Feb 26, 2023 Full Review Alan Jones Starburst Nomads is an effective, if low key movie, that should be worthy of more attention than it is probably going to get. Jul 22, 2022 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Initially, the unorthodox elements in the narrative promise a more inspiring explanation, but even if its narrative is easy to dismiss, one can't deny a handful of beautifully evocative moments of memorable unease. Rated: 3/5 Oct 21, 2020 Full Review C.H. Newell Father Son Holy Gore McTiernan's story involves the ghosts of past and modernity intertwined- a horror about our proximity to the past, at all times, even as post-modern people.
