Mike Hale New York Times Takes a pragmatic, health-based approach, buttressed by frightening statistics about cancer rates among children, that(TM)s a refreshing change from the moral and high-cultural preening that sometimes enter this debate in America. Rated: 3/5 Oct 16, 2009 Full Review Kyle Smith New York Post You may or may not be a scared person going into this movie, but nothing in it is going to change your mind. Rated: 0.5/4 Oct 16, 2009 Full Review Bob Mondello NPR Rather than just putting you off your feed, this food documentary aims to point up a success story %u2014 a small French town called Barjac that went organic and thrived. Rated: 7.5/10 Oct 15, 2009 Full Review Sarah Sluis Film Journal International Documentary about a movement to bring organic food to French schoolchildren is best when it observes, not lectures. Aug 15, 2011 Full Review Ross Anthony Hollywood Report Card Uneven documentary brings to the surface important points about the quality of our food products. All of us (this non-organic, cola-drinker included) should be apprised. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 29, 2009 Full Review Steve Ramos Boxoffice Magazine [Audiences] will take issue with the film's overwhelming number of talking heads, constant barrage of stats and director Jean-Paul Jaud's inability to craft a human story out of a very timely health issue. Audience Member It had a lot more substance than the other food documentaries I've seen. Albeit, thats a bar set pretty low. There's a lot of claims made and specifics, but I wish sources would've been cited. I liked that it talked about, and showed, solutions and spent a good amount of time on them. I think its worth watching. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member makes you see how others live and what they have to deal with. some people don't even have the chance to be healthy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member An adorable documentary, but the statistics are totally whack! Where did these come from? Additionally, the editing makes it feel like an old-style PSA. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
