Zanoli has done his job right in creating such a film with a dramatic backbone that guarantees the power of the scene. Nevertheless, go beyond. We need to recognize the existence of a disease. If a film can help you do this, then it must be welcomed.

In the end, there isn’t a whole lot we’ve learned about the disease at hand, if that was the intent of Zanoli, who wrote, produced and directed. But we may have learned a few things about casting.

I love the movie. At first I thought it would be another tear jerker movie and it might depress me because of a recent experience with a friend who had dementia and Alzheimer's before she passed away. But the movie was done in very good taste and depicted varied emotions while subtly delivering the message about the effects of the disease especially on loved ones. Nicely done!

Outstanding with a lot of heart! The direction was amazing. Now I know more about Alzheimer's disease. It was great to see how people and family can unite when there is a will! You'll feel good after watching this movie!

NOT TO FORGET is a film you will not forget, with its poignant message and unique perspective on Alzheimer's. It was the Best of Fest winner for San Diego Movie Awards at the beginning of 2022 and it will be screened at our in-person festival on August 2, 2022, at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. SDMA recognizes and honors independent filmmakers and screenwriters from all over the globe, and it is very proud to have awarded this feature film.
