After a life of petty crimes, a self-centered con artist is sentenced to take care of his grandmother, who is affected by Alzheimer's. As he discovers the extent of her wealth, he begins to plan his ultimate heist. Zanoli has done his job right in creating such a film with a dramatic backbone that guarantees the power of the scene. Nevertheless, go beyond. We need to recognize the existence of a disease. If a film can help you do this, then it must be welcomed.

In the end, there isn’t a whole lot we’ve learned about the disease at hand, if that was the intent of Zanoli, who wrote, produced and directed. But we may have learned a few things about casting.

Outstanding with a lot of heart! The direction was amazing. Now I know more about Alzheimer's disease. It was great to see how people and family can unite when there is a will! You'll feel good after watching this movie!

NOT TO FORGET is a film you will not forget, with its poignant message and unique perspective on Alzheimer's. It was the Best of Fest winner for San Diego Movie Awards at the beginning of 2022 and it will be screened at our in-person festival on August 2, 2022, at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. SDMA recognizes and honors independent filmmakers and screenwriters from all over the globe, and it is very proud to have awarded this feature film.

At GIFF 2022, this drama, which starred five Oscar winners, received nomination status for best feature film. The organizers and judging panel praised the work of the film's team. The work of the director, the director of photography and the cast was especially noted. Also members of the jury noted the social importance of the theme of the film. The organizers are pleased that such thematically important films are made with such a technically high quality approach and wish success to the entire film team.
