Audience Member Nowhere Man is an oil-black comedy, a film noir taken to the 10th power. It's a throwback to the Lorena Bobbitt story and disturbingly funny. Chalk another one up to the frequent collaboration between director Tim McCann and star Michael Rodrick! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member didn't care 4 this one Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member for a guy, one of the most uncomfortable movies ever; the DV cam is not good enough; feels like a short schedule with hardly any rehearsal, but that charms at times; the outtakes at the end were a bad move Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Definitely worth seeing, if only for its ambition. Some of the acting is less than stellar, but still an interesting way to while away a couple of hours. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I wasn't taking this movie really seriously when I got it, just because of the tagline and Rochon being in it. But I found myself with quite a good film. I really liked it, It is quite uneven, and some moments are *really* crude and intense, this movie features one of the most terrible scenes I have ever seen, which can rival the most acclaimed terrible scenes ever. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I want to own this! I totally love these series! You will never guess the end in a million years! V.A. Musetto New York Post Dreadful acting, direction and script. Rated: 0/4 Mar 25, 2005 Full Review Ned Martel New York Times This deliberately repugnant thriller is told from one distraught man's perspective, as he copes with the emasculating impact of love. Rated: 1/5 Mar 24, 2005 Full Review Kevin Thomas Los Angeles Times The bleak absurdity of its predicaments cries out for a tone of pitch-dark comedy to stave off the unintended laughter that it is virtually certain to elicit. Rated: 1.5/5 Mar 24, 2005 Full Review Prairie Miller Long Island Press Less a nod to the Beatles song than to avenging spouse trimmer Lorena Bobbitt, the film pits the two most off putting male fantasies toe to toe - eunuch and porn stud - and just kinda lays back to watch the fur fly. Mar 26, 2007 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International It's the kind of aimless junk the creators like to label "dark comedy," except it's never funny.
