Audience Member This definitely got a lot more interesting once they got into the woods. Up til then it it was like wonky take on Joe Swanberg meets the Duplass brothers. Then they had the wanky sensitive spazz go out into the wilderness 2,000 miles from home with an Army soldier with security and fidelity issues to go with any PTSD. Tension was built fairly well. Couldn't every really tell how sane or good a person Emily actually was. Seemed like she had a loose bolt or 12 of her own. The acting was functional, but this often felt like a film school project. Also, deduction for not one but TWO post-coital scenes where she still has on a bra. Makes the whole scene look phony and overly self-aware. Free the twins. 2.8 stars Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review william w This was a complicated film at times. It has so much going on. Not your usual love triangle for sure. But somehow it all works. And it is beautifully filmed and pretty well acted. I liked it. With a watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kyle s Nowhere Mind is a powerful psychological thriller. It is unique and unusual. The story of a man struggling with illness and meditation is intriguing. Technically, the sound design is phenomenal. I think that it what actually impressed me most about this movie. I also really liked the atmospheric, foreboding soundtrack, it created a perfect mood for the film. The editing was great, as were the filming location. I highly recommend this one! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A really nice exploration into the human psyche. This film was wonderfully directed/constructed. The pace allows you to really sink into the characters. Lovely photography and coloring too. I can't wait to see what this filmmaking team comes up with next! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is a slow burn, but definitely worth it for the ending. Great concept and well done! Makes you wonder if the grass is always greener. This thriller kept me engaged the entire time! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a wonderful film that establishes right off the bat what the emotional journey for its main character will be. Its well directed and has a voice that is its own. This movie has the courage to address some tough questions about mental health that most other films don't. The way its shot really allows you to enter the main characters head. I haven't seen many other films like this and for that alone it's worth the watch.
