Joshua Rothkopf In These Times As we live and breathe, Steven Soderbergh is making the best kid-stuff for adults since Howard Hawks put Cary Grant in a sombrero. It's no small achievement. Dec 10, 2008 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Ocean’s Eleven maintains the appropriate swagger and air of cool collectedness, but it’s hard to be impressed with its suavity as it bungles its own caper trail. Zach B A great film with a detailed story and outstanding cast. Due to how easy to watch this film is it has cemented itself as one of the best heist films of all time and one of the most rewatchable films of all time. Overall would highly recommend a watch even if you have no interest in watched the sequels. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Igor S Although with a heist that is highly unbelievable(like many other heist movies, so it's not a bad thing), the amazing cast and well written, fun script makes this a classic and a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Caleigh N This movie is one of the most entertaining pieces of film in media. Each time I watched the movie, up until recently, I caught something small I hadn't before, making it entertaining over and over again. There's many complex layers to this movie. Is the heist realistic? Probably not. But it's extremely thought out and unpredictable. The smooth and quick-witted dialogue, I believe, makes the fast pace easy to keep up with. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Jace E I have never met a single person who didn't enjoy Ocean's Eleven. The movie is fast paced, clever and fun from start to finish. The cast is incredible, with enough charm to fill the Bellagio vault. There is a sleekness to this movie that I wish was more prevalent in modern crime films. There are some clunky moments and Julia Roberts' Tess is very one-dimensional, but those complaints are minor. That being said, I absolutely hate when Tess says "You'll never win me back." It's just poor dialogue. What Ocean's Eleven does well is give us the pieces to put the heist together, but leave us in the dark just slightly. The film is endlessly rewatchable and one of the best crime/heist movies of all time. Best Character: Rusty Best Quote: - Rusty: Been practicing that speech, haven't you? - Danny: Little bit. Did I rush it? Felt like I rushed it. - Rusty: No, it was good, I liked it. "Teen Beat" thing was harsh. Best Scene: At the Fountain Best Piece of Score: "Clair de Lune" Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/24 Full Review Mason M Ocean's Eleven is a good film, but not all too entertaining and a bit hard to follow. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Faiz D One of the coolest crime/thrillers ever made. Excellent story and brilliant performances.
