Joshua Rothkopf In These Times As we live and breathe, Steven Soderbergh is making the best kid-stuff for adults since Howard Hawks put Cary Grant in a sombrero. It's no small achievement. Audience Member So many great actors and it works! Story is decent Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Birithivy Y Ocean's Eleven - 10/10. Steven Soderbergh's amazing remake of the the Rat Pack classic Ocean's 11 is a modern day example of how to properly update and remake a film. The swanky and swagger filled remake stars a litany of stars: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Julia Roberts, Elliot Gould, Scott Caan and Carl Reiner. Within the main stars there's also a bunch of famous cameos as well. Its a film for people that love ensembles and a film that does justice to the idea of big star cast films. The story follow Danny Ocean as he brings a team of highly trained people to help him get revenge against Terry Benedict, who stole his wife from him when he went to jail. His target, 160 million dollars. How the team prepares and eventually pulls off the heist leads to an amazing 2 hours of fun. And that's exactly what this film is, fun! Its a blast to watch the stars in this movie, as they all seem to be having a great time working together and sharing the screen together. The Las Vegas surroundings really help the film pull off its swanky look and really makes the heist feel even more epic. David Holmes's jazz infused score gives the film a very throwback feel within a modern context. And as for the heist itself, its one of the best, if not best, to have ever been conceived in film. Loads of fun and a movie that will never bore you, Ocean's Eleven is the ultimate star studded heist film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Bruno B um clássico dos anos 2000 , filme maravilhoso Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/31/24 Full Review Alexsander F O Maximo de entretenimento em que o cinema pode nos oferecer, isso é, desculpe a redundância, isto é "Absolut Cinema" por excelência conspícua, simplesmente sensacional. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/04/24 Full Review Jack G A lot more slow paced than I thought and it can be boring but it gets better further into the film Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Zach B A great film with a detailed story and outstanding cast. Due to how easy to watch this film is it has cemented itself as one of the best heist films of all time and one of the most rewatchable films of all time. Overall would highly recommend a watch even if you have no interest in watched the sequels. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
