Of Good Report is all three, making it a Triple Noir! No, wait - the film makes brilliant use of negative space (Noir #4): the protagonist never speaks; we're actually never shown the most grotesque violence directly, in the same way that the legacy of black/white apartheid lingers at the edges. It has the shock, wit and energy of Tarantino but without the racism. See more 04/05/2014 This film is genius ..... it is a modern take on psycho combined with the feel of a spaghetti western thrown in. There is not one wasted scene and the dramatic twists and turns are fast and furious. To categorize this film as focusing on a character that has pedifile tendencies is to miss the boat. This character has deep antisocial and delusional tendencies that coincidentally involve a young girl. I would highly recommend this film to any true film buff particularly if you like clever and surprising plot developments. Nice Job! See more Read all reviews
