Audience Member This a a interesting documentary.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa follows a bunch people living in the Mesa valley/desert in New Mexico. Off the grid meaning sustaining life without any public utilities. I could never do it, I think it's a dirty, disgusting life, but at the same time I can understand with the way society is, how some people see that as a viable option. The majority of the population there is old war vets who can't function in normal society. It's interesting to watch, since you can see that some people belong in that life, while others are just lost people roaming. I think some of their logic is flawed, like taking food from the government trucks that they so completely despise. The filmmakers never judge or slant the picture to any political kind of stance, but rather captures these people living a life they choose. Interesting flick. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This will make you appreciate the smaller things in life. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting documentary about a collection of misfits and veterans with PTSD living off the grid out in the desert of New Mexico. I feel sorry for the kids being raised out there, but an interesting slice of society. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A portrait of the lives of those 'Off The Grid' and rarely considered or envisaged as citizens of the USA. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting documentary that depicts good and bad aspects of living off the grid.
