Mables - This movie is phenomenal. I can see why this movie was a disaster in the box office, given the weird characters overall. But even perfect things shows some imperfections, and those flaws shouldn't stray you far from trying this movie out. This movie had broaden my mind about the suffering, and challenges that people faced in India. One of the songs portray it so well, and those situations doesn't just represent India, but other countries that has been a victim to corruption. This movie also provides great romance. The characters dynamic gave a breath of fresh air for me, even if the man was portrayed as the 'hero', both of them share some imperfections that they both acknowledged and loved. Even if their relationship lack depth and history, you can clearly see their future. Plus, consent is hot. Maybe I'm just easily entertained, or this movie is just that great. This reminded me of one of those cheezy awful American 80's movies - the kind that you can find playing on some obscure cable channel at 2am. You know, the kind that usually starred a young Keanu Reeves. Amrish Puri (the eternal villain) is weirder than weird as Don Quixote. SRK is always adorable and there are some cute songs, but probably not worth a repeat viewing.
