Stephen Lang stars in a film titled the same as his recent roles. Old Man is boring, wordy, and unenjoyable. The movie feels claustrophobic within the four walls of a cabin in the woods, and the editing is sloppy. The acting is mediocre at best, and the ending is unsatisfactory. Old Man isn't worth watching.

New to the review scene here but have been living it ever since I was a child, over 40 years ago... Well, my childhood's returning and it's time to start chiming in. I hope you'll enjoy the reads along the way, and I'll always provide my best not to lead astray!!! I no longer read reviews or descriptions of films before experiencing. I will only go in knowing the title, genre, and possibly some of the cast... Although some may say predictable, I would like to suggest that within that sense it captivates the emotional reality of defeat, isolation, guilt, pain, and loneliness with that subtle simplistic perfect hint of fantasy that leads to your own imagination and interpretation. Instead of a "straight road" or a "left or right turn" ahead, it leaves the viewer with plenty of paths and possibilities... A bit tough at times, but this really hit home for myself on so many levels! It's not just another typical "cabin in the woods" horror film!!!

Um bom filme que certamente seria ótimo ver numa peça teatral. Temos aqui uma claustrofobia de uma cabana, e a energia de boas atuações. Aliás o filme se baseia exclusivamente nas atuações, pois não temos nada para nos distrairmos. Como filmes de suspense antigos de Alfred, que se desenrolam lentamente, e que no fim não sabemos ao certo se o que estamos vendo é a verdade nua, ou se tudo não é um simbolismo, como no filme Mãe.

Actually a really good movie but docked it a star because of the excessive profanity. As a Christian it really bothers me to hear God's name in vain. This movie did it excessively and it added nothing to the plot. So why? Why keep saying it? That I find ridiculous
