Audience Member This movie is a story well told. It's interesting, intriguing, funny, emotional, honest and moving. I live the way it's filmed, some of the settings are just gorgeous. Really, it's a must-see! Olympia proves to be an incredibly smart, bright, determined and very funny (hilarious) woman, worth admiring. And she's real, very true to herself and her origins ... thát's what this movie portraits so well. Really, you're going to love it and you're going to love Olympia, it's a must-see ... watch this movie!!! Enjoy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Flavio A Olympia is remarkable from beginning to end. Vivid, surprising and moving. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/21 Full Review Audience Member I was only vaguely familiar with Olympia Dukakis when I watched this, and I cried more than once! So, I imagine that proper fans will absolutely love it. Nicely put together, very naturalistic and flows easily. Although it clocks in at around 100 minutes, it left me wanting more. Gets you really invested Olympia, who's so down to Earth it's refreshing. I'd take Olympia over any self-congratulatory big studio production any day. Michael Ordoña Los Angeles Times Without a more probing look into her artistry, it's hard to think of "Olympia" as a definitive Dukakis profile - though it's certainly an unusual celebrity documentary. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Jessica Kiang Variety "Olympia" for all its fondness, is just too cursory a portrait of a complex woman: depth presented as a series of glinting surfaces. Jul 10, 2020 Full Review Nell Minow RogerEbert.com It is a pleasure to spend time with Dukakis, who is always not just open to but hungry for revelation, growth, and connection, giving the documentary a deliciously buoyant quality.
