Audience Member Sencilla y entretenida. Una película rodada con pocos medios pero que logra exprimir su presupuesto hasta el último céntimo. Ideal para ver un sábado noche rodeado de amigos. Even if the version you watch doesn't have subtitles, it doesn't matter because the story is so good that you can understand it with or without subtitles. It's smart and fun and gross in a good way. My only complaint is that I can't find a region 1 version of this to buy. It disappeared off of Netflix a long time ago and now I can't find it anywhere. Personally, I loved this movie. I really did and I still do, it was entertaining, thrilling, had a cool concept and I liked the cast, no face that I've seen somewhere before really did it's magic - It feels more real. To be honest, I think the movie didn't need 'great/detailed characters', we're here to focus on the story. Not the characters! Therefore I couldn't care less about them. I wouldn't say it's an outstanding movie or one of my top 10, but it definitely deserves more than 2 Stars. After the wildly successful clandestine restaurants sweep New York and London, urban Europe get their first samples to fine gastronomy. But when a gastronomic journalist is sent on the task to wrte an article on these secret clubs, he discovers that one is serving human flesh. His curiousity overwhelms into a cynic cycle of morality and revenge. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic story about a journalist doing research on clandestine restaurants and finds out that one specializes in human meat. Omnivores follows Marco and his adventure into this very seedy underworld restaurant. Terrific acting, amazing ending, and at the same time very sad. Truly horrific the way the human victims were treated, especially when you realize that we do the same to animals in slaughterhouses. Quite haunting. Highly recommend this.
