My personal favorite Japanese film is a Taiwanese movie about Japan and the art of Japanese hospitality and its attention to details. Directed by a professional e-gamer, this movie is full of potential: addressing things like cultural heritage and identity, since half the movie is in Mandarin and half in Japanese. A cult classic.
