Ben Sachs Chicago Reader The let's-put-on-a-show narrative is familiar but agreeable; the characters are likable, and there are some funny one-liners. Sep 24, 2015 Full Review Terry Byrne Boston Globe The heart of On Broadway is in the right place. But when the story behind a film is more interesting than what's on the screen, that's a problem. Rated: 2/4 Mar 14, 2008 Full Review James Verniere Boston Herald Rated: B Oct 18, 2008 Full Review Sara Maria Vizcarrondo Boxoffice Magazine offers some truly sweet parts that feel like a return to the indies of the early '90s, when regional cinema still felt fresh and full of purpose. Audience Member When I first started watching this, I wasn't sold. But I decided to stick it out because of all the good reviews I've read, and I'm really glad I did. It takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it's beautiful. I really enjoyed this. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A wonderful little film. Family, friends, culture and passion. It is stilted in parts but overall a triumph about love of it all. Great rental. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Superb drama..a simple and well written story which is very well enacted..Have to say was very touching and is a recommended family watch!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member joey mcintyre is a natural born actor i just love his performce it is a must see Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Heartfelt, but poor acting skills of the cast (esp. Eliza Dushku - yikes) took some of the power out of it. I only downloaded it to our Netflix queue b/c Joey McIntyre is and will always be my favorite New Kid :) Not a great movie, but not a horrible one either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent story, with great direction and a fantastic cast. I believe the writer/director had also co-written Southie back in the 90's which was a well done indie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
