10/13/2011 Excellent film! Francine and Adams were successful in capturing the essence of the people who live in Coal River Valley as they struggle with seeing their friends and family be affected by the coal industry . The shots were gorgeous and the interviews heart felt. While the film was shot in West Virginia, a unique world of its own, the struggles of this community were relatable and emotionally engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and would recommend it to everyone! See more Read all reviews
