Synopsis
Filmmaker Liz Merman explores the lives and practices of two doctors and a nurse who have dedicated their careers to providing women with the option to have an abortion if they so choose. Merman recounts the 1998 murder of a physician who also performed such operations, and delves into the motivation behind the subjects' willingness to risk life and limb to offer a service some Americans decry. The participants detail the sometimes violent opposition they face from pro-life advocates.
