The original cut is as flawed as it is gorgeous. The Reprise edit is utterly clueless — both introducing continuity errors and clipping out context that really worked about the original version's blue-valentine vibes.

Watched this many years after it was made because Terri Garr is in it. I did not have high expectations and it was a good thing because it was a really horrible movie. Over-directed, no high point, a huge cinematic flop, boring and a complete waste of Terri Garr's talents. She can be so charming and Coppola directed all of her charm right out of the movie. The only high point was seeing Terri Garr but it was a struggle.
