Justin Chang Variety A soulful lead performance by Francis Ng as a disillusioned hit man is the main reason to see One Last Dance. Jan 26, 2006 Full Review Michael Ferraro Film Threat It's not that the entire piece is written so terribly; it's just that the film is thrown together in the most undesirable fashion. Audience Member Old-fashioned suspense movie, but told with a certain flair. The main performances are pretty good, and Harvey Keitel channels his best Marlon Brando. Kept me engaged throughout, even if the writing is a little flawed. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The acting belonged on a bad American soap opera. The cinematography belonged on a cheesy filipino sitcom. The directing is invisible, and the editing that put all these elements together is just obnoxious. Not to mention HORRENDOUS "YTV" quality blood effects, and other "default editing program" special effects that belong only on bad marriage home videos, or do-it-yourself picture slideshows. It's too bad, because otherwise it could have had the potential of a nice storyline with an interesting idea. If you've seen ANY other asian film within this genre...this one just won't cut it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Max Makowski, Brazilian director of numerous Queer Eye For The Straight Guy episodes, pieces together a surprisingly decent hitman-themed movie with lots of style, most of it for it's own sake, though. This means CGI-effects in heavy doses, fast editing and a non-chronological narrative. The main reward for the audience is Francis Ng's assassin, a part he fills with appropriate coolness as well as humanity. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review leong c One of my favourite chinese show.... Francis Ng really put on a great performance!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Some nice transitions, nice music, but apart from that less than average movie. Harvey Keitel actually appears for maybe 3 minutes so I don't see the point of putting him on the cover^^ Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member IIIIII LOVE IT! I don't care. Love the style, the plot, the characters, the actors, the lines, the cine'tog. I will kill every other person who hates it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
