r 9 How boring. 'One Little Indian' lasts for just 90 minutes but somehow feels much longer, the pacing is so slow; not helped by hardly any action or noteworthy event(s). The cast do alright, but the plot isn't interesting or well told; of course the idea is a heartwarming one, but never once does it really come through as that. Not sure the kid attempting to be Native American is necessary, either. I have zero issues with the onscreen talent themselves, James Garner (Clint), Vera Miles (Doris) and Clay O'Brien (Mark), among others, all give fine performances - could've been better, could've been worse. It's always cool seeing a future famous cast member when they were younger, Jodie Forster (Martha) in this case. All too mundane. A weak attempt, even if Disney have done worse. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member very different western and a treat in its own special way. James Garner, as always,a solid performer. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A Disney movie that didn't suck.Compared to the crap Disney put's out nowadays this was a masterpiece. They just don't make them like they use to & after you watch this, You'll know what I mean Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member (First and only viewing - 8/11/2010) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of a low spot in Jim Garner's career--he wasn't making big movies anymore and he hadn't yet revived his career with "Rockford Files". He's as amiable as ever but this is a pretty forgettable film. Pat Hingle is good and a young Jodie Foster shines in her limited screen time, while Andrew Pine appears to be using this as his audition reel for "The Apple Dumpling Gang". There are comedy sequences that scream for music which seems to indicate McEveety was as bored watching it as the audience and forgot. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member it wasn't a bad movie at all, i quite enjoyed it. The thing that get me is, they say that kid is white (after the pull part of his pants down).. How can he claim as an Indian?
