Blu B Makes perfect sense but it's a very boring poorly made family western. The acting isn't good and the worst part. Gardner and the boy have no real chemistry and the acting overall is at best ok and at worst wooden, emotionless, and borderline feels like people are sleepwalking especially Gardner. He feels like he can be so inconsistent and trying one moment and another just slumming it. The pacing is subpar also This feels like a 2 hour movie not 90 minutes. Everything feels dragged out and at times this gets very boring. There is clearly times it tries being funny to and the humor is just terrible. The camel is a running gag and honestly...Ishtar did it better. Everything else is alright. Very basic direction, there really isn't any impressive action scenes, and the whole things feels like a very barebones serviceable western at best. The whole middle with Miles & Foster is completely pointless and if you cut that out nothing would be lost. It feels like stuff just happensin the start with them too and it would work better if it was actually funny. Skip This. Defintely one of the more forgettable and poorly done Walt Disney Dark Era films. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review S R A silly family movie that is typical of Disney's period here. I saw it for the Utah scenery where it was beautifully filmed. Sadly, the plot didn't measure up to the cast or scenery. A young Jodie Foster featured, but it became quickly tedious. RUS. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review r 9 How boring. 'One Little Indian' lasts for just 90 minutes but somehow feels much longer, the pacing is so slow; not helped by hardly any action or noteworthy event(s). The cast do alright, but the plot isn't interesting or well told; of course the idea is a heartwarming one, but never once does it really come through as that. Not sure the kid attempting to be Native American is necessary, either. I have zero issues with the onscreen talent themselves, James Garner (Clint), Vera Miles (Doris) and Clay O'Brien (Mark), among others, all give fine performances - could've been better, could've been worse. It's always cool seeing a future famous cast member when they were younger, Jodie Forster (Martha) in this case. All too mundane. A weak attempt, even if Disney have done worse. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member very different western and a treat in its own special way. James Garner, as always,a solid performer. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A Disney movie that didn't suck.Compared to the crap Disney put's out nowadays this was a masterpiece. They just don't make them like they use to & after you watch this, You'll know what I mean Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member (First and only viewing - 8/11/2010) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
