Neil O Cheap No much of a story Acting was poor Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Laurie S Excellent thriller, exciting all the way through. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Rebecca S Planning to watch a Scott Adkins movie you know that you are not getting the best actors and you just hand in your brain at the theatre entrance- but usually at least the martial arts parts are really good and it is fast flowing entertainment - even if it is shallow entertainment. This was a catastrophe - the acting was non existent, tons of script errors and the martial arts sequences were boring and you could see them actually pulling their punches..... I am really trying to find sth. positive here: alas.....I started to nod off during the movie: I think that says it all. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review noah g not sure why the critic rating is this low, yeah the plot is kinda ass but its a one take action movie, its clearly not about plot Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review KometQuin Y Normal action movie, suitable for dinner. I watched it from the perspective of the actor of the main character. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Harris R This little gem is another win for James Nunn, a sequel to One Shot. Filmed mostly (if not entirely) in one take - a huge feat and accomplishment on its own, the story continues from the first film flawlessly. The low budget for one of the better B film you will ever see was used so well, you begin to wonder what excuse countless blockbusters have for getting it so wrong. All casting and performances were outstanding, and all action scenes and fight choreography were realistic and very impressive, especially considering it was all filmed from one (single camera) POV. The story may have felt a little dragged out, but the constant suspense and excellent pacing made the 103 min runtime fly by. James Nunn is certainly a director to keep an eye out for, and I for one am a fan, and can't wait for One More Shot part 3. Ignore the wannabe critics with the ridiculous low reviews and ratings, clearly they are clueless on how difficult this film was to make, and that considered, how well it turned out. It's a very well deserved 8/10 from me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Cath Clarke Guardian More than a little suspension of disbelief is required and, increasingly, I felt as if I was watching a video game. It’s a movie with a fairly low IQ too... Rated: 2/5 Jan 9, 2024 Full Review Sean Chandler Sean Chandler Talks About While the single shot gimmick compromises the quality in places, it also gives the film a relentless sense of urgency. If you're an action fan that can forgive clunky dialogue and some weak performances, this movie provides a unique viewing experience. Rated: B- Feb 19, 2024 Full Review Alistair Lawrence Common Sense Media Adkins throws himself into proceedings with the same admirable commitment as ever, but even one shot feels like one too many this time around. Jan 30, 2024 Full Review Daniel Gorman In Review Online One More Shot is a perfect place to dip one’s toes into a wild, energetic sub-genre. Jan 23, 2024 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal Anyone who maintains a straight face while insisting this is an improvement on the "Die Hard 2" conceit is at best jockeying for online attention and, at worst, illustrating supreme ignorance of meathead action-movie culture. One take, zero excitement. Rated: 2/5 Jan 20, 2024 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Perhaps one doesn’t come to this style of entertainment for the drama, and “One More Shot” certainly delivers when it comes to bone-breaking, blood-spattering events.
