Steffy Y HORRIBLE ACTING...camera work and ridiculous scenes in first 15 minutes. Truck at the gate not complying with orders and they just kept yelling get out of the truck and they drive through a very frail gate holding terrorists prisoners then a gazillion of shooters come out of the back of the truck... So stupidly predictable....turned it off. Don't waste your time! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Gusenichka didnt have a cat in a hat, disappointing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review David S Didn't realize you could fit 500 terrorists in a single truck Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review noah g pretty cool action scenes, and thats all i really wanted from this movie anyway Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Jacob E In my opinion this is one of Scotts best movies and i love the action in this one Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Josue S With an incredible repeatability factor, "One Shot" is an action movie template big blockbusters should be following. The way it all seems to play out as a single scene is also magnificiently filmed. How do you switched from the bad guys to the guys when the camera is supposed to never stop? Watch this movie and then rewatch it and try to figure out how they did it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Leslie Felperin Guardian Nunn has crafted something as weirdly mesmeric as it is schlocky. Rated: 2/5 Jan 25, 2022 Full Review Mark Peikert indieWire Lacking the polish of other entries such as Birdman and 1917, One Shot feels like a first-person shooter video game with the camera reversed for once. Rated: C Nov 5, 2021 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety Director James Nunn's reunion with star Scott Adkins... may not transcend their usual B-grade, adrenaline-fueled macho fare, but does bring some welcome novelty to the genre. Nov 5, 2021 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM The One Take camera technique is new enough in mainstream cinema to make One Shot interesting to action fanatics, but only those who want a relentless shower of violence will be entertained by the onslaught. Rated: 2/5 Mar 3, 2022 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound If straight to video still existed then James Nunns One Shot would certainly be one. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 8, 2022 Full Review Chris Knight National Post Unfortunately, the story is a little thin, consisting for large stretches of little more than a shooting gallery of bad guys, and the one-take technique, while mostly well executed, doesn't do enough to elevate the story.
