Paul B Ugh. What a POS. That's what you'll think many, many, many times about the main character in this movie. Selfish, oblivious POS. The character was so absolutely unappealing and STUPID, it ruined what I'm sure they were trying to do with this movie. People don't have to be selfish, morons to wake up to what actual happiness is. I was infuriated throughout. If you want to watch an unredeemable character fumble through a haze of selfishness, you'll love this clunker. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/30/23 Full Review 87LokiGators This movie was EXTRAVAGANT! It is so hilarious, making me laugh out loud multiple times! The soundtrack is beautiful and this movie is perfect to watch with all ages. Ordinary World truly is a masterpiece. Extremely underrated and needs more views! Billie Joe, Judy Greer, Brian Baumgartner, Fred Armisen, Madisyn Shipman, and the rest of the cast did a PHENOMENAL job at their parts! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this beautiful and sentimental movie to any viewers, not just Green Day fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/22 Full Review Audience Member I had a more redeeming experience on the toilet this morning Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/22 Full Review Audience Member Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong in his first leading role is fun to watch and the story is enjoyable, but it could use more work on the story and characters. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Phil W I was looking forward to a story I could relate to staring a singer I enjoy. Dear god - this was horrible. Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Ordinary World becomes raggedly enjoyable thanks to the unexpected charms of its leading man Oct 14, 2016 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times The film turns into a predictable midlife-crisis yarn. Oct 13, 2016 Full Review Tom Keogh Seattle Times The film distinguishes itself by what it lacks: simple, unrealistic answers to Perry's regrets and the hole in his soul. Rated: 3/4 Oct 13, 2016 Full Review Sean Mulvihill FanboyNation.com Ordinary World is unable to tap into the universal themes of being uneasy growing up and accepting responsibility because its main character is just so aloof in everything that he does.
