Synopsis
In the 1970s, author Alyosha (Youzas Budraitis) is on a journey to meet Sergei (Georgy Burkov), the brother he was separated from during World War II, when the boys lost their father to battle and their mother to suicide. As the reunion approaches, the writer often finds himself lost in his childhood memories. As a young boy, he ended up alone, trying to navigate the tattered landscape of post-World War II Russia, while also dealing with the loss of his family and the cruelties of his orphanage.
