Audience Member A silly "comedy"about the competing passions English men have for women and soccer. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a bad film but could have been a lot better. It tries and fails to be funny at times which is the most frustrating thing about this movie, the majority of the humour coming from Danny Dyer (who gave a fairly decent performance with the material given). The story is watchable and the dialogue is believable and natural on the most part. It works as a light hearted one time watch but offers nothing beyond a "chick flick". Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member When you see the hulking, sneering figure of International budget-Cameo-Hard-man Vinnie Jones appearing on the horizon to rescue this dire, exercise in romantic chauvinism, you understand - that this is beyond dreadful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I have a feeling that most of the guys will hate this movie. Danny is dreamy and the movie is for girls mostly. Even that it is surrounded by football, this is a definite chick flick. A lot of very funny scenes, but the scenario is laughable. The couple is married and the bride doesn't know her husband is a hardcore football fan? Laughable. Giving up football completely for a woman... laughable. Guys don't watch this, unless you are REALLY a fan of Danny, he's pretty funny in this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a great film with lovely Portugal as the setting oh and romance + football. If you like Danny dyer,Rommance and football it's a must see. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member decent film. Danny dyer was excellent as usual. Didnt really understand Vinnie Jones part in the film, but solid film none the less Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
