Caden C With the previous movie in this sequel exceeding my expectations, I thought, “With a new director, this movie can’t get any better than the original.” Boy was I wrong. This movie opened a new side of me. Definitely recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/16/25 Full Review BRizz 2 Ouija Shark and its sequel Ouija Shark 2 are two of the most atrocious films I’ve ever sat through. I knew going in that they would be terrible—sometimes I enjoy digging into those “so-bad-they’re-good” movies—but this franchise doesn’t even land in that category. It’s just pure cinematic pain. If there’s any justice in the world, this franchise ends here and now. The first film is a disaster of epic proportions, with painfully bad acting, a nonsensical plot, and effects that look like they were made with clipart. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, the second film somehow manages to dive even lower. It opens with a bizarre monologue from a man who died in the first movie and is now stuck in some purgatory-like version of hell—a plot point that’s supposed to add depth but just feels like padding. The sequel also introduces a new “villain” of sorts: Tarotgator, which is essentially an alligator brought to life with the same awful CGI as the shark. Yes, you read that right—a shark versus alligator subplot, as if this film couldn’t get any weirder. The plot somehow revolves around someone finding a Ouija board at the beach, which triggers this absurd chain of events. The acting? Honestly, it’s some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Not a single performance is believable, and if any of these actors or actresses went on to bigger roles, I’d be shocked. Whoever cast this mess clearly wasn’t looking for talent. Final Verdict: Ouija Shark and Ouija Shark 2 aren’t just bad—they’re cinematic black holes that drain every ounce of your patience and sanity. Avoid this franchise at all costs. Rating: 0/5 stars.
