A S + warm-hearted and romantic. - frustrating that once again the men are mostly fairly hopeless and outsiders, whilst women run the show. that's the norm these days. (- very obvious plot and plot turns). ++ the Sam Mitchell character (Kevin McCorkle) plays a good (generous, fair, realistic) role. A well told simple story of an alcoholic ranch hand who takes a job at a dude ranch. All elements are brought together. Excellent casting, well acted, with a wonderful and appropriate sound track. The blurb about the wild horse is misleading. This is a story of a man overcoming a family tragedy in a place where men are men, women are women and horses are horses.
