Audience Member Cheesy as a hallmark films are. But ed Asner portrays a well being grandfather in a struggle to be himself and not die away in a senior center Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member actually movie has a nice scenario but it needs a pro-remake. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member great movie... ed asner does a wonderful job Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member you will learn to treasure your family Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was on Channel 5, 3.15 on a Monday afternoon. Perfect scheduling as it was a brain-free, easy going yarn which included life lessons. Hot shot lawyer gets stuck out in the sticks and, despite initial resistance, learns to respect and adopt the simple ways of the country folk. To be honest, the predictability of it all made it a tad dull but I sat it out. I even shed a tear at one point towards the end, although I had broke up with my girlfriend of six years a couple of days before, so it probably had more to with that than the films schmaltzy climax. I won't lie to you, there are numerous other ways the afternoon could have been better spent, but I was not in the mood. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
