"Outcome" is a dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that's sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer. Co-writer and director Hill brings a unique lens to Reef's wild but spiritually cleansing, nostalgic and eye-opening trip down memory lane, where confronting his past might be the only way to rescue his future.

It’s hard to imagine this mumbling, shambling man holding multiplex masses in his thrall. As such, he’s a poignant void, but a void nonetheless, and even at a slim 84 minutes, Hill’s doleful film can’t keep us interested in his plight.

Difficult to watch....not sure what Jonah Hill is doing in this...maybe its the writing, or was it all ad libbed? Unwatchable...I tried, ended up fast forwarding through most of it....

I loved this movie. It was a bit meta, showing a flawed man in a flawed society. Great cameos. It's not getting a lot of love, and I can't see why that is.

Loved this film. I don't understand the poor reviews. It's a charming, straightforward and gentle comedy about friendships and growing older. What's not to like? I'd definitely watch it again!

Funny dark comedy. It’s a comedy folks, it’s not supposed to be serious. Awkward characters with some bitingly funny lines. Some hit, some miss, but overall they work. The satirical take on Hollywood also hits the mark.

Meandering. Incomplete. Self indulgent. But mostly unfunny and uninteresting. We were warned by the reviews but decided to watch it anyway. We kept waiting and waiting for a scene, a moment, an inflection point to occur that would transform this sloppy incoherent, lazy film into something compelling but 1h 23m later we were left staring at the credits wondering how & why we didn’t simply hit the brakes and abandon this directionless mess of a film. I want my funny, self deprecating Jonah Hill back not this self indulgent, narcissistic Jonah Hill V2.0 that we’ve been stuck with for years.
