Left-leaning documentary filmmaker Robert Greenwald sets his sights on right-wing billionaire Rupert Murdoch in this takedown of the Australian media mogul's flagship, Fox News Channel. In deconstructing the conservative network's oft-touted slogan, "Fair and Balanced," Greenwald assembles archival footage of Fox News personalities like Bill O'Reilly and Neil Cavuto, as well as interviews with former employees and previously unseen interoffice memos from channel boss Roger Ailes.

Taken for what it is, Outfoxed is still worth watching, especially for the politically active. Go to Full Review

Pure partisan warfare of the liberal stripe, to be sure, but that doesn't make it any less disturbing when discussing such a major shaper of public opinion as Fox, whose motto, judging from this film, more accurately should be 'You retort, we deride.' Go to Full Review

09/15/2015 Just explaining what everyone already knows See more 06/08/2015 A refreshing look into one of the most corrupt media organizations. This film uncovers many of the bias practices that Fox News is guilty of covering up under their "Fair & Balanced" slogan. Definitely worth watching. See more 04/20/2014 "Outfoxed" made me angry, not the Murdoch press operates in such a manner, but that so many people are oblivious to it, taking all that they see on the 'news' as fact, oblivious to the biases that exist in all media (in this case Murdoch's allegiance to the Bush administration). See more 03/26/2014 Insightful, The Truth about Murdock and His Empire of False Journalism. This documentary has a lot of footage of ex-staff members, and the Fox News tactics. Fair and Balanced? Yes and Soda Pop is good for You. See more 08/08/2013 Of course the director never comes forward to declare what his political positions might be. Haters will hate. FNC is a massive American success story that the Left just can't handle. See more 07/03/2013 Nothing we didn't know already but still a great compliation of footage put together makes this compleing viewing. Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity have to go down as two of the biggest ****s of all time. See more Read all reviews
