Darren D OUTPOST (2008/DIR: Steve Barker) Well made low budget horror that takes advantage of doing things it's own way & it never tries doing too more than the budget can handle. A horror mixing up the genres with action & sci-fi, sees hired mercenaries in war torn Eastern Europe, tracking down an old German WWII bunker which leads to an onslaught from unknown entities. You have the gore & violence with a couple of standout kills gore & a capable cast with the likes of the late Ray Stevenson & Richard Brake. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Audience Member Shows that movies even with a low budget can still be as good as any. One of my favourite nazi zombie movies Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Still 1 of my favorite horror movies of the 15 years. I watched it so much that the actual dvd is broken. Everything is filmed in the correct way, the WW II scenes as well as the more currant/modern ones. Goosebumps all the way! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor, far fetched drivel Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Some good acting here. Use the closed captioning, very United Kingdom. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Mark S Si-Fi Horror. Good for some mindless entertainment. Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews It's a commercial attempt to pull in some coin during the popular zombie craze sweeping the world of cinema. Rated: C Sep 15, 2017 Full Review Anton Bitel Eye for Film Outpost is exactly what a horror film should be - while also commenting on a whole history of human barbarity and conflict that seems doomed forever to repeat itself. May 15, 2008 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...it eventually becomes clear that the entire opening hour could've easily been compressed into a tightly-wound 15-minute chunk.
