Audience Member Voted top five outstanding productions of 1930 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Stilted and flat rendering of a decent play which was remade much better as BETWEEN TWO WORLDS (1944). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review dave j Thursday, February 10, 2011 (1930) Outward Bound DRAMA/ MYSTERY Unbeknowist passengers are aboard on a free cruise, unexpected why that is! Before Rod Serling's 'Twilight Zone', movies such as this was on, except that it's a film about humanity without much suspense! A remake was made almost 15 years later called "Between Two Worlds"! 3 out of 4 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The ending of this movie will be stuck with me for a very long time. I loved the things they discussed about life and death, and how they discussed it. Someone said something about their situation being strange and someone else replied, "Why is it so strange? It's not strange when we are born.." I love this stuff. As always, Leslie Howard was amazing. I need a time machine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A bunch of people who are dead are trapped on a boat. Some great shots and a couple good performances, the rest is very stagey and dull.
