Tom M Fun 'poor little rich girl' movie. Oberon is great while Harrison character is written to be quite dull. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/11/20 Full Review ashley h Over the Moon is an okay film. It is about Jane Benson who manages to make ends meet running the large family house in Yorkshire. Merle Oberon and Rex Harrison give decent performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Thronton Freeland did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the humor. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Such wasted potential for what could have been a really fun movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/19 Full Review Audience Member ok rom-com year s/b 1939 not 1938. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Seriously lightweight Korda production with simple girl Oberon inheriting 18 million from a dead grandfather, Rex Harrison as the country doctor/fiance who refuses to treat her any differently while she lives the high life, and precious on location photography of Monte Carlo, Switzerland, and Venice to highlight the (early) use of Technicolor. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member good stuff from the BEST year in movies 1939 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
