The Ref has already is similar -and better- than this movie. There’s just something about Over Your Dead Body that is… overacted. It’s not funny, and male-on-male rape stopped being funny years ago. So much for equality. I walked out when the dad showed up.

This film was a pleasant surprise. I went in not knowing what to expect. WOW! This movie had me in stitches. Every minute got more ridiculous than the last. I don't know if people were laughing at the movie, or at me laughing at the movie. what a great time. Weaving and Segal, what an odd couple, but man did it work great!

Extremely brutal and over-the-top gory, albeit hilarious, jet-black comedy, for the most part on the very capable shoulders of the wildly talented Samara Weaving, following her recent repeat performance in (somewhat similar) "Ready or Not 2". The very definition of "Final Girl" in this genre. The only downside of this film was one scene where the story went a bit too far was the reenactment of a prison "game" involving 3 escaped convicts who hole up in the couple's lake retreat home - drained away much of the gruesome fun.
