TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 1 day ago Ozark Shark is another shark horror movie created with the intention of thrilling the audience, but unfortunately, it completely misses the mark. This is easily one of the worst shark movies I’ve seen. The scene where the shark jumps over the deck and gets shot with an arrow was so cartoonish that I couldn’t even take it seriously. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what I was watching. You can’t make a shark movie if you can’t make the shark itself convincing. That’s the biggest problem here. The shark effects were awful, and instead of creating fear or suspense, they often made the movie unintentionally funny. The screenplay was weak, the acting didn’t help, and the shark itself was somehow the worst part of a movie that was already struggling. Nothing came together in a way that made the story feel believable or entertaining. Overall, Ozark Shark is definitely one you can skip. I didn't expect much from it but a few laughs, but this didn't even do that. It was basically a Styrofoam shark about six feet long mixed with stock footage of an actual shark. All filmed in a small stream no more than a foot and a half deep. At least Sharknado had some intentionally bad acting in it. In this they were trying to act well but came off miserably. It started off pretty okay, But the one main character was just so unlikable, and got even more unlikable when she decided to seek revenge for her boyfriend's death, despite the fact that he died by a different shark(the shark was already), by his own stupidity.
