Audience Member I really liked the premise of Ozone. But the drug itself lacked any consistency which prevented any real tension to be built up - it just became too unpredictable. First the drug caused people to explode. Then it turned some into zombies. But not everyone...some stayed looking normal until they had sex. Then there was the 'baby'...and what was running the show? A mutant drug thing...not sure how to describe that. So what could have been great, sadly wasn't. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member J.R. Bookwalter, who hails from my home town, makes really terrible movies. Now I only recently discovered this guy, and I have no idea why I've missed out on him so far. I have to thank my brother-in-law for giving me the heads up and lending me this awfulness. It is poorly shot (possibly on VHS), it has bad acting, cheap looking special effects, and a bad script about some kind of super drug being passed around the streets that turns folks into zombies. It is pretty atrocious, but kind of enjoyable for that very reason. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member up there with troll 2 as one of the best/worst movies of all time for sure, go rent it with some friends and laugh your asses off.
