Karthikeyan C Padosan Hindi picture of 1968. Benefiting from being the 1st of its kind comedy. ================================ I saw it 1st time a couple of days back and still missed the 1st few scenes. Certain scenes by Mehmood where he speaks Tamil are very nice situational comedy. But overall extreme over acting by Sunil Dutt if not by Mehmood. In the end the movie looks like a tragedy for one buffoon while the other buffoon who gets the girl could screw up her life. But worth watching for some young people out here, even if some scenes by main leads are overdone and boring. The songs gained a cult status for a long long time including the somewhat absurd comedy scenes. Watch the movie for Kishore Kumar and some scenes by Mehmood in most of the scenes the comedy is too dated and unoriginal which the earlier generation didn't realize. Watch it on a device rather than TV and save time from some boring scenes and dated concepts like making serious sad situations deliberately packaged as comedy. This Movie was gr8 there was abit more of music and nach nach as for my taste, but hell of Funny. I wonder why Mehmood chose Saira Banu in the leading role, though she was not bad. Could have been better. Sunil Dutt & co. were Awesome. Crap that look of Mehmood, I laughed my fuckin ass off. My Hindi and Tamil classes paid off ;) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Even Mehmoods` madrasi character didnt save the Movie.
