KerryWhite's S 5/10. 52/100. | An interesting premise but falls short. Seemed more like a Jason/Goosebumps mix of movies, with Lost Boys wannabe vibes.
I'll admit tho, the twist at the end somehow actually got me. Props for that. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Joe D THE SECOND BEST VAMPIRE MOVIE (after "The Lost Boys" obviously). Very original plot, great soundtrack, beautiful eye catching scenery, costume, and aesthetics! An 80's era vampire fan's wet dream! A must see!🕯️🦇⚰️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/22 Full Review Audience Member Good special effects, some of the storyline is good but there is something lacking in the film! I wouldn't have made it very clear whom the killer was here. I would love to see more suspects in this film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The set up for this film is actually alright, a serial killer pretending to be a vampire (Wings Hauser) and is consequently drawing too much attention to the actual vampire community, so a real vampire seeks him out to stop his killings. However, the execution of said story is pretty weak, as it desperately tries to emulate Tony Scott's "The Hunger," complete with 80s new wave performances by Agent Orange intercut with various vampire scenes throughout the film (the more goth Bauhaus seems much more fitting for a vampire film). Hauser is solid as the film's killer and I will admit that I did enjoy the very 80s feel of the film (the pastels, the music, the outfits, the hair, etc.), but there are far better 80s vampire films you could watch instead of this one. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not great acting, some erotic overtones. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
