There's certainly a hidden gravity to the film, a low-key melancholy. But nonetheless Palm Spring is absolutely a comedy, albeit a dark one—ironically set in sunny paradise.

Not as funny as I would have liked but it gave enough good laughs. Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti were good as the mains characters. The story was surprisingly interesting for something that has been done before. J.K. Simmons was good as always though his part was small. Lot more rom com than just a comedy but since the story was decent it felt better than your typical romcom.

I like it a lot. It is not nearly to Groundhog Day but it is still really really good. The acting could be better tonbe honest but over all quite good. The ending does not make sense, but there must been a loophole a guess. Anyway really good.

Absolutely adored this! The storyline was pleasantly unique and caught me by surprise- and the main characters delivered amazing performances all around. I was really bought in to their emotions, and found myself pining for the relationship and love and emotion they made palpable. I would love to see Samberg do more of these types of roles that showcase his natural/inherent comedic value vs the skit/punchline type comedy we typically see him in.
