Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader The Panama Deception makes us acutely aware of the wider problem of evaluating any information we get in the news... Rated: 3/4 Jun 2, 2022 Full Review Emanuel Levy Variety Forceful condemnation of the Reagan-Bush policy in Panama, especially after the 1989 invasion. Relavent message--a total dismissal of the officual story--and timeley release in election year increased the visibility of docu, which won the Oscar Award. georgan g Another sad example of why most of the world hates the US. GOP brutal politics of illegal war to continue US control explain the checkered past in Panama. Well written documentary shows exactly what happened there. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A must see for anyone traveling in the region. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A very dry, step by step account of our relationship with Panama & the ultimate breakdown of those relations leading to our ousting of Noriega. It plays as a basic news report. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member The most uplifting scenes in this story of mass murder are those of the loving care Panamanians gave to reburying their loved ones in proper caskets after discovering fifteen civilian mass graves created by US military bulldozers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Marvellous documentary about the Panama invasion by the United States and the role that the U.S. had in propping up Noriega beforehand. Unfortunately, it relevant only to the historians now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary on the US invasion of Panama. Something for people to understand the reasons the US really did invaded Panama! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
