shelley t I had the same response to this movie when I first saw it a year ago as I did the second time a year later. It brought tears to my eyes just how beautifully human it is. This shows the transformative power of art beyond anything I could have imagined, and the absolute beauty of human beings beyond walls of prejudice. Thank you JR and all your associates, friends, and people for displaying your beauty as humans so that others can see past their own walls. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An amazing film of art and humanity. A must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member a fascinating exploration of JR's ability to bring art to places you'd never expect it and show the underlying humanity we all share - even those most marginalized and dismissed by society. A salve for our fractured times, brilliantly told and visually bracing. Don't miss it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times The power of his art is in the way he sees people, creating canvases for them to be seen, to exist, for a moment, larger than life; portrait as landscape big enough to be seen by all, something especially meaningful for those so often overlooked. Nov 19, 2021 Full Review Odie Henderson RogerEbert.com I love movies about process, and this film is chock full of scenes showing how things get done. Rated: 3/4 Nov 12, 2021 Full Review Robert Abele TheWrap The work may disappear - the documentary ends with an intentionally short-lived exhibition tied to an abandoned high-rise set for demolition - but the people, JR wants us to know, will always be there. Nov 11, 2021 Full Review Loren King Newport This Week (RI) The shot of the completed "moon room" rising into the sky above the grim favela is breathtaking. Even in a place of such despair, art can bring us close to the stars. Jan 28, 2022 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A feel-good documentary directed with heart but too glibly for me to say I was completely won over.
