Audience Member All in all a good adaption, even if it had to cut several parts and make the story less ambigious than the novel. Recommended. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked this quite a bit as a Japanese "Friends", though was less interested in its attempt at being thought-provoking, and wasn't surprised at all by the big twist--after all, it was the 'gun-on-the-table' in the very first scene. Most of the acting and script are crisp and well-executed until real significance is attempted. It's only mediocre at the "what do we reveal to, and know about, the people around us" theme, but it's fun if you just ignore that part.
