John Serba Decider It tries to be smart. It tries to be tawdry. But it's just vaguely dissatisfying. Nov 12, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

T T The writers of this movie must have ADHD, because it had a very erratic and confused plot that was a huge and sloppy mess. Very unprofessional screenwriting. The Thai actors' acting was especially horrible too. The whole movie was basically a whole lot of nonsense. That said, the last 15 minutes were very interesting because there were so many plot twists and turns. But, it was too late to save the movie. 15 interesting minutes and an interesting ending do not make up for the other 79 minutes of boredom, chaos, and nonsense. I was happy when this movie was over. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Bob B it was better than average. I liked the location and the foreign aspect and the main actor and how the movie didn't sit too long and bore you. And the end was pretty good as well. I will say they leave a lot to the audience to figure out or fill in. It is a movie that doesn't elaborate on a lot of things. For better and worse. You never really quite emotionally root for anyone. Except maybe the main actor. But that part of it reminds of Rogue One. The Star Wars movie. These guys are a bit faceless. but it's also a strength in that they don't spend a lot of time on cookie cut characters and generic lines. You just sort of have to accept this is gang of people you don't know. Really in a way it's a perspective of the main character after 15 years in prison and visiting old friends that he doesn't know so much any more in a foreign land. It's not masterpiece, but it's good escapism late at night that somehow has enough smarts and pace to keep a person awake and entertained and wondering a bit. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot is weak, just a bunch of violence missing a clear story. It's like It's based on an essay writen by a 3rd grader with an imagination gone wild, with a 100 plot twists that don'g add up. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The opinion is certainly good Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Not too bad for an entertainment... so so acting though...The plot is ok...But the deaths are the most unsatisfied. It kind of ruins the overall of the film. You will understand after watching Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member literally no thought was put in for the script whatsoever, also the end also didn't make no sense. Although the movie was interesting. So basically it's just a bunch of interesting things put together to create a movie. Feeling - upset Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
