I loved the sounds and music score. Retro feel, quirky and atmospheric. I guess it appeals more to people of the sixties... So many bad and critical reviews. Somebody forgot to sit back and enjoy it. It's called Paradox for obvious reasons.

Did the acting suck? Sure did! Was there a plot line? Nope. Who cares? Anyone who panned this movie is either A too millennial to know who Neil Young is and what he's known for or B didn't consume enough psychedelic substances to really appreciate it. Anyone who can't find something good to say about listening to Neil Young and Willie Nelson's offsprings music against gorgeous western landscapes and bizarre anachronisms just needs to lighten up and enjoy the ride.

This is more like a student film. The songs are good but the mixing between them isn't great. The beautiful western landscape makes it difficult to not look at least half decent. Considering the amount of unknown talent out their I feel that the money used for this could have been used better elsewhere

If you love Neil Young and/Daryl Hannah you'll love this. I love both and while it isn't the movie you'd (expect without reading the negative reviews) it is a unique cinematic form all of its own and a whimsical tribute to the monumental artistry of Young's music and his mythical place in Canadian/North American history. Sit back and enjoy without trying to understand too much.
