John Serba Decider Parallel ultimately works, but just barely... keep your expectations earthbound. Oct 10, 2024 Full Review Steve Morrissey Radio Times Parallel is the multiverse movie for people who usually find them too hectic by half. Rated: 4/5 Aug 8, 2024 Full Review Julian Roman MovieWeb Parallel is a tense and disturbing sci-fi thriller that explores the different pathways of alternate realities. What begins as a family confronting an emotional crisis takes a frightening turn into an unexpected labyrinth of consequences. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 28, 2024 Full Review Rachel Leishman The Mary Sue While the plot of Parallel can get complicated if you think too deeply about it, the film shines in the performances that Deadwyler and Aldis and Edwin Hodge bring to this family. Julia G The series is based on an good idea but the execution is sloopy. The writing of the main character is very bad und the quality of the acting is quite uneven. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/25 Full Review Giorgio G This is definitely the cheapest "Multiverse-themed movie" ever made. A cast of only 3 people inside a house and the surrounding forest. You can imagine what you get. That doesn't mean that the flick is lame or bad, but it's obviously simple. Still, within its simplicity is somehow interesting as one never knows if the lady is just crazy or if there actually are different realities. All in all it's watchable, though not really captivating or tense. 5/10 points! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/10/25 Full Review Jay O Enjoyed the film but hated the ending, considering everything that happened . Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/25 Full Review Aundrea E Definitely better than expected. No pun intended, but I felt out of the loop. I wish there was more to the plot than just the looping. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Matthew R And everyone in that universe lived happily ever after. Dumb Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Gustavo G Since the start I disliked the main character. The dialogue and the plot are very poorly written and get tiresome. Bad acting. Beautiful photography. I was not able of finish watching it. I felt I was wasting my time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews
