Sucks! It's the South Korean remake of the Japanese film crying out love, in the centre of the world - which is based on the novel Socrates in love by Kyoichi Katayama -spoiler- Su Ho's life is saved by Su-eun and she loses her beeper In the process. In class she looks at him and approaches him after. They spend time together and visit Marriage Rock by ferry. While there Su-eun faints and Su Ho rushes her to hospital, she has lukemia and he visits her everyday. She is going to die and so Su Ho books two ferry tickets to take her back to marriage rock were they had their first kiss. However she dies at the port. Years later at their class reunion he goes back and finds her diary and reads it. It says she planted flowers on the hill for him - there purple. Side story is about So Ho's grandfather who was in love with a woman but had to go away and when he came back he could not find her so married So Ho's grandmother It had been 50 years. The daughter of the woman he loved had come and said her mothers last wish was that they be reunited and he do her funeral for her.
