Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Here's one of those shuffling, slovenly American indies that can seem vain and inconsequential, or inviting and oddly profound, depending on the talent involved. Rated: 4/5 Apr 2, 2011 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) Rated: 2/5 Apr 1, 2011 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard The siblings are a bit like Sense and Sensibility's Elinor and Marianne: quaint but somehow universal. Rated: 3/5 Apr 1, 2011 Full Review Kaleem Aftab The List [A] smartly written comedy. Rated: 4/5 Nov 6, 2018 Full Review Dorothy Woodend The Tyee (British Columbia) [Passenger Side] does not force anything, but rather allows it to reveal itself, in its own sweet time. It possesses a reserve, a wry humour, an intelligence, and a type of good-natured dyspepsia that made me feel instantly at home. Aug 22, 2017 Full Review Alistair Harkness Scotsman Passenger Side works through its angsty family-drama-oriented premise with a sarky script, a healthy sense of self-awareness and an amusingly deadpan performance from Adam Scott. Serge L A sort of road movie, and a tv movie. Very cinéma-vérité but at a barebone budget. A bit like the nouvelle vague in France. Not too bad an effort but we can see lots of fake events and people. This is not too serious, so it comes out as more or less watchable, if you have time for this. It is adult rated. Nicely done, but not particularly memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved! Stellar acting by all. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed this relatively simple sibling road movie. The acting is crisp, the characters believable, the plot is loose but it doesn't really matter. The beauty of this film is in the characters; the brothers bouncing off eachother, the strange people they meet along the way, this is as much a film about people as it is about family. There is a twist at the end that isn't too hard to anticipate but well done nonetheless. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
